History of
Microsoft
The gaming industry has evolved
over the years, as it has seen change in the way that they make consoles. The
fact that there are new gadgets means that they need to keep up to date with
modern day technology. Many companies have had to adapt and change according to
changing face of technology. One of the main companies that are constantly
changing their products to meet customer demand is Microsoft. Microsoft is the
world’s biggest digital company, it helps to develop, manufacture and licence
products. Microsoft was founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen in 1975. They have
a broad area in which they work in as they support and sell products like “company
software”, “personal computers” and “consumer electronics” (Wikipedia, 19 April 2015).“It is the world's largest software
maker” (Wikipedia, 19 April 2015) and they take in most
amount of revenue in their market. They first took to the digital market in the
mid 1980 as they produced a “personal computer operating system” (Wikipedia, 19 April 2015). Microsoft
has invested in many markets like gaming market and the mobile market recently.
One of the most interesting ventures that Microsoft has taken up is that they
also own Bing; personally I was not aware of this. The fact that they own and
support an Internet Search engine demonstrates to me that they are a big force
in the technology world.
